DublTrubl is designed to help couples make public double-date plans. Offline meetups still call for care, clear boundaries, and good judgment. DublTrubl does not monitor dates in real time.
Meet in public
Choose a public place for first meetups. A restaurant, bar, coffee shop, activity venue, or other staffed setting is a better first plan than a private location.
Confirm venue details
Check hours, address, pricing, reservations, parking, accessibility, and any perk details directly with the venue before relying on them.
Use your own transportation
Plan your own way there and back. Do not rely on someone you just met for a ride, and leave whenever you need to.
Tell someone where you are going
Share the place, time, and who you are meeting with a trusted person before the double date.
Protect personal information
Avoid sharing your address, workplace details, financial information, private documents, or other sensitive personal information too early.
Keep control of the plan
Use accept, edit, decline, report, and block tools when something changes. A sponsored venue or suggested plan is not a safety guarantee.
Trust your judgment
Pause, leave, edit, or decline a plan if something feels off. You do not need to explain away discomfort to keep a plan alive.
Report or block concerns
Use report and block tools for suspicious behavior, harassment, impersonation, pressure, or safety concerns. You can also email support with enough detail for review.
Call emergency services in an emergency
If you or someone else is in immediate danger, call local emergency services first. DublTrubl support is not a substitute for police, fire, medical, or emergency help.
