What is DublTrubl?
DublTrubl helps people make plans together. Version 2.0 focuses on nearby meetups for romantic couples and pairs of friends. Every profile represents two adults attending together, not a solo dating profile.

Is it still only for Dallas?
The current app started in Dallas. Version 2.0 expands nationwide, with curated venues in Dallas, Los Angeles, and Phoenix/Scottsdale. Venue coverage, outside events, and active meetups vary by area; a nationwide app does not mean every city has the same listings.
How does DublTrubl work?
Create your two-person profile, explore nearby places and meetups, then host or join a plan. Share an invite and coordinate with the group in chat.
Can two friends use it?
Yes, in 2.0. Choose A couple or Two friends when setting up your profile. It must be two people who agree to attend together. Solo profiles are not supported. Friends profiles can join Couples & friends meetups, but not Couples only meetups.
Does the other person need their own login?
No. One person can set up and manage the shared profile. Connecting a second phone by code is not available in this release.
Do we have to provide birthdays or turn on location?
In 2.0, birthdays are optional. You must confirm that both people are 18 or older. Location and notifications are optional too; choose a city to explore without sharing your location.
Does joining book a table or buy tickets?
No. A DublTrubl meetup coordinates the group. Make any restaurant reservation or event-ticket purchase separately, and check availability, hours, and pricing with the provider.
What happens when someone opens a shared meetup link?
In 2.0, the invite opens the meetup so they can decide whether to join. Sign-in and profile setup retain the invite. If they need to install the app first, they may need to tap the original link again after setup.
How should we stay safe when meeting?
Meet in public, use your own transportation, tell someone where you are going, avoid sharing sensitive personal information too early, and report or block concerns when needed.
Can I delete my information?
You can delete your account in the app’s Settings. For help or a privacy request, email hello@dubltrubl.app from the address tied to your account. Deleting the app from your phone does not delete your account.
