Report copyright infringement
If you own the copyright or are authorized to act for its owner, send a written notice to the agent above. Please include all of the following:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the copyrighted work you believe is infringed. For multiple works at one online site, you may provide a representative list.
- Identification of the material you want removed or disabled and enough information for us to locate it. Include a page link or, for in-app content, the relevant profile or meetup name, date, and a description or screenshot identifying the specific material. A public link is not required for in-app content.
- Your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address, if available.
- A statement that you believe in good faith that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, the owner's agent, or the law.
- A statement that the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act for the owner of the exclusive right allegedly infringed.
Consider whether permission, fair use, or another legal exception applies before sending a notice. Send only information needed to identify the material and support your claim; do not send passwords or unrelated private conversations.
How we handle notices
We review copyright notices and act expeditiously to remove or disable access to material when required by applicable law. We may contact you for missing information. When we remove user-submitted material in response to a copyright notice, we take reasonable steps to promptly notify the affected user.
We may share the notice, including contact details, with the person who submitted the material or the relevant content provider so they can respond. We may also share it with legal advisers or as required by law. See our Privacy Policy.
If your content was removed
If you believe your material was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may send a written counter-notice to the same agent. Include:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- The material that was removed or disabled and where it appeared before that action.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you believe in good faith that the removal or disabling resulted from a mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address, and telephone number.
- A statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district where your address is located or, if your address is outside the United States, any judicial district where Beyzer LLC may be found. Also state that you will accept service of process from the person who sent the original notice or that person's agent.
We will forward a qualifying counter-notice, including its contact details, to the original complainant and inform them that we will restore the material in 10 business days. Under the DMCA process, restoration occurs no earlier than 10 and no later than 14 business days after we receive the counter-notice, unless our agent first receives notice that the complainant filed a court action seeking to restrain the alleged infringement. This does not prevent separate action for other violations of our Terms or Community Guidelines.
Repeat-infringer policy
Our policy is to terminate, in appropriate circumstances, accounts of users who repeatedly infringe copyright. We review relevant notices, counter-notices, retractions, and other available information when making that decision. We may also remove content or restrict access for a single serious violation under our Terms of Service. Do not re-upload removed material to evade enforcement.
Important information
Knowingly making a material misrepresentation in a notice or counter-notice can result in liability, including damages, costs, and attorneys' fees. If you are unsure about your rights or obligations, consider speaking with a qualified attorney.
