About Sam

I'm Sam, the person building DublTrubl. I started working on it because the older you get, the harder it can be to make plans with people who are in the same season of life.

Friends move. People get busy. Some friends are single, some are married, some have kids, and some are just in a totally different rhythm. Nothing weird about it. It is just life.

But when you are in a relationship and want other couples to hang out with, finding people who actually fit your vibe can be harder than it should be.

My background is in data engineering. I have spent a lot of time building pipelines, cleaning up messy data, and making systems reliable enough for people to trust.

I also worked in program finance and finance management at Lockheed Martin, where planning, budgets, tradeoffs, and follow-through were part of the day-to-day.

DublTrubl is meant to make that part of adult life easier by keeping things low pressure and helping a good match turn into an actual double date.
