This page explains what information we collect, how we use it, how we may share it, and the choices available to you across the website, app, matching features, venue suggestions, sponsored placements, plan tools, sponsor requests, and support channels.

DublTrubl is designed for adults. By using DublTrubl, you understand that we process information related to couple profiles, preferences, suggested matches, planned meetups, and support or safety requests so the service can work.

We may collect information you choose to give us, including your name, email address, city or general area, age confirmation, partner or couple details, profile text, preferences, questionnaire answers, ranked activity choices, uploaded couple photos, plan details, support messages, reports, blocks, and feedback.

If you submit a sponsor or venue request, we may collect business name, contact name, email address, phone number, website or Instagram handle, business type, address, sponsorship interest, estimated budget range, message, and related submission details.

We may collect information about how you interact with DublTrubl, such as app screens viewed, feature interactions, match and plan activity, venue suggestion activity, device and browser information, diagnostics, crash logs, performance data, and security-related records.

For website forms and abuse prevention, we may collect technical records such as IP-derived hashes, user-agent strings, timestamps, request metadata, rate-limit records, and similar security logs.

If you enable notifications, we may collect and store a device push token so we can send useful app notifications such as match, plan, or account updates.

If you allow approximate or precise location access, or provide a city, area, or location preference, we may use that information to show nearby couples, estimate distance, determine market availability, suggest public venues, show relevant venue placements, and improve date-planning features. You can manage device location permissions through your device settings.

If you upload photos, we use them for your couple profile and related app experiences. Do not upload photos you do not have permission to use. We do not use photos to create biometric identifiers unless we update this policy and obtain consent where required.

Venue suggestions may use venue names, categories, addresses, coordinates, photos, map links, reservation links, and other venue data supplied by us, third-party providers, or public sources. Venue information can change, and you should confirm details directly with the venue before relying on them.

We use information to operate, maintain, and improve DublTrubl; create and improve couple profiles, matching, ranking, venue suggestions, and plan tools; provide account access; evaluate sponsor and venue requests; show and label sponsored placements or perks; send service and launch updates; respond to support requests; review safety reports; prevent misuse; debug issues; protect users; and understand how the product performs.

We may also use limited information to communicate with you about DublTrubl, including product updates, account notices, safety notices, and support responses. You can unsubscribe from non-essential emails when an unsubscribe option is provided or by contacting us.

To make the app work, we may show parts of your couple profile, photos, preferences, compatibility context, plan details, and related activity to the other users or couples involved in matching, planning, messaging, or reviewing a double-date plan.

We may share information with service providers that help us operate DublTrubl, such as hosting, database, authentication, analytics, diagnostics, email, maps, venue data, reservation-link, security, and customer-support providers. These providers may process information only as needed to provide services to us.

We may share information if required by law, legal process, or a government request; to protect users, DublTrubl, or the public; to investigate misuse or safety issues; or as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets.

We do not currently sell personal information, sell sensitive personal data or biometric data, or process personal information for cross-context targeted advertising. If our practices change in a way that requires additional privacy rights, opt-outs, or notices, we will update this policy.

Sponsored venue placements may be selected using app context such as city, plan timing, venue category, date idea, or similar signals. Showing a sponsored venue does not mean we share your personal information with that venue.

If you contact a venue, make a reservation, redeem a perk, leave DublTrubl for a venue or reservation platform, or otherwise interact directly with a local business, that business or platform may collect information under its own terms and privacy policy.

DublTrubl may link to third-party websites or services, including maps, venues, reservation platforms, Apple services, Google services, social platforms, or other external resources. Those services are controlled by their own terms and privacy policies, not this Privacy Policy.

If you report, block, or contact us about another user or a safety concern, we may review the information you submit along with relevant account, profile, match, plan, message, or technical information to understand what happened and take action. We may preserve certain records when needed for safety, legal compliance, dispute resolution, or abuse prevention.

We keep information for as long as reasonably needed to provide DublTrubl, maintain safety and security, resolve disputes, comply with legal obligations, enforce our terms, improve the service, and support legitimate business needs.

You may request account deletion in the app when that feature is available, or ask deletion and privacy questions by contacting hello@dubltrubl.app. We may need to verify your request before acting. Some information may be retained when required or permitted for legal, safety, security, fraud-prevention, backup, or dispute-resolution purposes.

You can choose what profile details to provide, update information in the app when available, manage device permissions such as location or notifications, unsubscribe from non-essential communications, request deletion, or contact us about privacy questions.

If you are in a jurisdiction that gives you privacy rights, you may have the right to request access, correction, deletion, portability, or other controls over certain personal information. To make a request, contact us at hello@dubltrubl.app.

Depending on where you live and which laws apply, you may have rights to confirm whether we process your personal information, access it, correct inaccuracies, delete it, obtain a portable copy, opt out of certain processing, and avoid discrimination for exercising your rights.

Texas residents may have rights under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act, including rights to access, correct, delete, obtain a copy, and opt out of certain targeted advertising, sale of personal data, or certain profiling. To make a request, email hello@dubltrubl.app. If we deny your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision and saying that you want to appeal.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. However, no website, app, database, or internet transmission is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

DublTrubl is intended for adults who are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly allow people under 18 to use DublTrubl, and DublTrubl is not directed to children under 13. If you believe someone under 18, including a child under 13, has provided information to us, contact us so we can review and take appropriate action.

We may update this policy as DublTrubl changes. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date and may provide additional notice when appropriate. Your continued use of DublTrubl after an update means the updated policy applies.
